[for photographers] quicktips :: understanding exposure

Trying a different kind of quicktip today… the infographic.  I love everything that the infographic is, and being crazy visual, it helps me understand things quicker and in an easier way than with lots of text.  So, I thought I would try to make one.

If mastering the manual mode on your camera is at the top of your 2012 goal list, then you might find this helpful.  Perfectly exposed images are a balancing act of three features on your camera,  aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.  The picture below demonstrates what a “perfect” exposure looks like and how you adjust these three aspects to get it.

If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments!  I’ll answer anything I can 🙂

Would love some feedback on the infographic.  Do you have questions?  Love this type of learning or hate it?  Is there a typo or is something confusing?  (And… I just had to go back and fix graphic and repost because apparently I can’t spell here! *hear is not correct!  What a dummy.)  Give me anything you got in the comments.

P.S. Click the share button below and spread the love to all of your friends that might find this helpful 🙂
